The
Medical Marketing Association honors Mullen & McCaffrey with an
International Silver Award.
"Who's
calling the shots?" is the headline of a newspaper advertisement created by
M&M for Eastern Long Island Hospital's alcohol rehabilitation service called
Quannacut. The photograph in the ad is a shot glass with a near empty liquor
bottle behind it. The final paragraph in the copy reads, "You can start
calling the shots by calling the Quannacut Alcohol Treatment Program
today." The advertisement won a Medical Marketing Association Silver Award
for black and white newspaper advertising. The MMA's award contest drew over
5,000 entries from more than 30 countries.
Mullen
& McCaffrey wins national marketing award for Montauk's world famous
Gurney's Inn Resort & Spa.
When
internationally renowned Gurney's Inn in Montauk made the transition from a
"reservations only" Inn to an "owners only" resort club, it
asked M&M to create winning direct mail marketing packages. These lead
generation packages brought prospects to Gurney's for a two-day, one-night
"Getaway Vacation" to consider timeshare ownership. M&M's award
was based on creativity and results.

row for Better Health, the East End's first wellness newsletter.
Mullen
& McCaffrey conceived and produced Better Health for Eastern Long Island
Hospital. The newsletter won national APEX awards in 1997 and 1998.
Mullen
& McCaffrey wins two National Healthcare Advertising Awards.
M&M
won two national Merit Awards for healthcare advertising in Healthcare Marketing
Report's 10th annual awards contest. One award was for a black and white
newspaper advertisement for Eastern Long Island Hospital's Psychiatry
Department. The second award was for the hospital's Patient Guide handbook.
